Private dental care · Rittenhouse
Quiet, careful dentistry.
One dentist, one room, one patient at a time. Nothing is sold to you in the chair, and nothing is done that was not explained first.

One sofa, one plant, and no television.
The practice
A room, not a clinic.
Appointments are forty-five minutes, so nobody is waiting behind you. You will see the same dentist every time. The X-rays are shown to you on the screen you are looking at, and explained until you have no questions left.
How we work
- No. 1
Explained first
Every treatment is described, priced and written down before it is booked.
- No. 2
Nothing sold
If a tooth can be left alone, it is. If it needs work, you will hear the reasoning, not the offer.
- No. 3
Seen on time
Ten minutes late is a failure on our side, and you will be told why.
AshgrovePrice list
First consultation, with X-rays$180
Every other fee is quoted in writing before anything is booked.
Fees
Stated once.
There is one price on this page, and it is the one you will pay for a first visit. Everything after it is written down for you before it happens.

One treatment room, with a window. Your X-rays are shown on the screen beside the chair.
- Before
A conversation
The first appointment begins in a chair that is not the dental chair: what you want, what you are afraid of, what has been done before.
- During
Nothing unexplained
Every instrument is named before it is used, and you can stop anything with a raised hand. Most people never need to.
- After
A written plan, or none
You leave with the X-rays, a note of what was found, and a price for anything proposed.
Appointment
By telephone, or by email.
Tuesday to Friday, eight until four. Closed on Mondays, on purpose, and never double-booked.
Ashgrove is invented; the fee is invented; the two photographs are stock, from Unsplash (Inside Weather, Kari Bjorn Photography), standing in for the practice’s own. Notice what the style refuses: there is no banner, no offer, no gallery of smiles and no second typeface. What it spends instead is light: each wall is lit as you reach it, and the light leans toward wherever you point.
