The content of this site

The writing, code, drawings, palette and layout of this site are mine. You may quote or link to this site with attribution. You may not copy the site wholesale, or present the work as your own.

Prices are an estimate, not an offer

The prices published here are starting figures for typical projects, shown so you can tell whether we are in the same range before either of us spends an hour on it. They are not a quotation, not a fixed price and not an offer capable of acceptance. Any actual engagement is governed by a separate written agreement signed by both of us — and where that agreement and this page disagree, that agreement wins.

No advice, and no promises about results

Nothing on this site is legal, accounting, medical or financial advice. Nothing here promises a search ranking, an amount of traffic, a number of enquiries, or any revenue outcome — no such figure is claimed anywhere on this site, and you should be careful of anyone who does claim one.

The site is provided as it is

This site is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. I do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, I am not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profit, revenue, data or goodwill, arising out of your use of this site. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to one hundred United States dollars.

This clause covers this website only. Liability for paid client work is dealt with in the written agreement for that work, and this page does not alter it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising from this website will be brought in the state or federal courts sitting in Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania.

These terms may change. The date at the top is the date of the current version. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it.
